Beanstack is the digital program we use to track student reading!
Beanstack allows us to create challenges all year long. Students can see what their friends are reading, recommend books they've loved, and keep track of their own reading streaks!

Yes! We will have a small prize for students who complete the summer reading challenge when they come to their first library lesson in august!

No, we will not have a paper version of the challenge. The Beanstack app allows us to save so much paper!
Your family is more than welcome to create their own paper version at home.

We have a handful of students who regularly complete our Beanstack challenges very quickly!
We're hoping this version will satiate our students who are looking for a little bit of a longer challenge this summer!
If you foresee your reader being a very active Beanstack user this summer, this may be the version for you!

All Beanstack challenges are optional, be it in the summer or throughout the school year.
Aside from rising 5th graders who have a separate, mandatory summer reading assignment.

You can do both at the same time!
Beanstack allows you to log your reading for both programs through their tandem feature.
